Water System Has Problems

The Town of Bridgewater Board met Thursday night to discuss new business.


Town of Bridgewater Supervisor Dale DeKing began the meeting with a motion to approve the March 9 meeting minutes. The Board approved a resolution to approve the March 9 meeting minutes.


Destiny Davis reported the owner of a junkyard met with the Planning Board and had questions answered about the approval process. Davis reported she finished a BOCES course, has an upcoming certification test, and a professional development course scheduled.


Jerry Parry said there's some issues with the water system and the Town may need to consider an indepth replacement of some plumbing parts throughout the system.


There was discussion about working on the system. DeKing said the Board would talk later about extending the water district.


Dierdra Williams said the Zoning Board's next meeting is May 11.


The Bridgewater Fire Department answered 25 calls in March with five fire calls and two Motor Vehicle accidents.


The BFD answered 442 total calls for 2022 with 375 EMS calls, 52 Fire…
