Village Thanks Clinton Clerk For Her Dedication

The Village of Clinton Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the June 6 and July 5 meeting minutes into Village record. The Board approved a resolution approving the payment of audited vouchers.


Village of Clinton Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo reported this year's ARPA Fund check was received and the Village now has over $90,000 in ARPA funds for use. The Board approved a resolution accepting the Finance Committee report into Village record.


DPW Supervisor Rob Rockwell reported the DPW took loads to Oneida/Herkimer Solid Waste weighing 10.37 tons at a cost of $622.20.


A catch basin on Chestnut Street was raised and repaired. The swale on Chestnut Street was repaired and paved as well.


The Water Department pumped 16,115,200 gallons for July, averaging 519,846 gallons daily. Ninety-five gallons of Chlorine and 444.8 pounds of Fluoride were used.


A six-inch break on Utica Street and a water service leak on Williams Street were repaired.


The Wastewater Treatment Plant processed 25.14 million gallons for July with a maximum daily average of 1,020,000 gallons. The new generator has been installed and the Board approved a resolution to declare the old generator surplus.
