Veterans who live in the Mount Markham School District attended a drive-thru parade at Mount Markham Elementary School last week. All students lined the sidewalks, waving flags, cheering and clapping as veterans drove by. Each veteran received a gift made by kindergarten and first grade students, plus a patriotic treat.
