The spring season for Waterville AYSO, Region 492 was successful even with pandemic related guidance and restrictions. The 10U girls team coached by Monica Kilts was undefeated (8-0) with only one goal scored against them all season. Players were Olyvia Wilcox, Natalie Kilts, Leah Baker and Avery Jones; middle, Sophia Muth, Rachel Adams, Braelynn Mennig, back, Avery Gallagher, Lia Waldron, Kathleen Stronach and Jenna Burns, with Coach Kilts, who was named Coach of the Year while Steve Murphy of Waterville was named Referee of the Year for the season.
Awards were also given to players at various divisions for modeling sportsmanship. Award winners were: Harper Burnett (3U), Colton Jones (4U), Jonny Mack (5U), Sean Gallagher (5U), Elijah Torres (6U), Quentin Lince (6U), Sahara Coleman (8U), Sawyer Spooner (8U), Olyvia Wilcox (10UG) Jeremy Gill (10UB) and David Pederson (10UB).
