The Town of Bridgewater Board met recently to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution approving the April 10 meeting minutes.
The Board held a discussion about pending litigation in the Town of Marshall and the lack of action being taken on the case.
Members of the Planning Board attended some training classes, including one from the Department of Homeland Security on Spies, Espionage, and Foreign Press and a Dog Licensing seminar.
The Town of Bridgewater Fire Department answered 37 calls in April, with 32 EMS calls and five fires.
The Board held a discussion about the solar-powered speed sign not charging.
Boardmember Tom Meininger led a discussion about purchasing a water softener.
Boardmember Mike Pcola said he had a Zoom call about the Town Clock.
Boardmember Chris Haar led a discussion about volunteer projects.
Bridgewater Supervisor Dale DeKing said the Board would be required to name a deputy supervisor.
Roselle Wheeldon volunteered for the position and the Board approved a
resolution to appoint Wheeldon as Deputy Town Supervisor. ...
