Although it was a mostly cloudy day, it was opening day at the Jack Boynton Community Pool on Norton Avenue in Clinton. Swimmers trickled in on opening day, where they enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool and various lawn games. Lifeguards were posted and other staff members were on duty to help all those who attended. Just a couple of days prior to the first day of public swimming in Clinton, the pool received a nearly $5,000 donation from the “Subaru share the Love” initiative. In May, the Clinton Pool held its annual spring fundraiser at MKJ Farm in Deansboro. The pool is open daily from 1 to 7 p.m. Day Pass admission is $6 a person for June and $7 per person July and August.
