At their February meeting, the Town of Richfield Board heard an update on the planned Family Dollar store in the town at the corner of Routes 20 and 28.
Two parcels will be combined. Planning Board members had concerns about parking on the side of the building facing Route 20.
Planning Board Chair Janet Sylvester said representatives of the company attended the Town’s Planning Board meeting, where they were told they need to provide the Planning Board with more information.
Also at the Planning Board meeting the subdivision application for the Dye property was denied. Board members had questions about the water source.
At the Town’s meeting, the Board agreed to put out bids for fuel. The new plow was installed on the 2022 truck.
Otsego County will hold a rabies vaccination clinic in the Town Garage April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Otsego County Legislator Keith McCarty reported hazardous waste days are Aug. 25 and 26. No paint will be accepted, but electronics will be accepted.
The Town’s insurance agent Scott Fortnam from Gates Cole presented the board with the Town’s 2023 insurance policy.
