Speed Request Made On Rte. 8

The Town of Bridgewater Board met this month to discuss new business.


Two residents asked about installing a speed limit sign on Route 8 near the cemetery by Shaw Road.


The Board held a short discussion about contacting New York state for a speed survey.


Planning Board Chair Destinee Davis said the Planning Board had no walk- ins and the maps are stamped for the subdivision on Mapledale Road.


Judy Reicher submitted a resignation from the Planning Board. The Board has a replacement candidate who hasn't formalized commitment yet.

The Board approved a resolution accepting the resignation of Reicher with best wishes from the Town Board.


The Board approved a resolution to accept the September meeting minutes as corrected.


Rose Wheeldon said the ZBA met the previous evening.


Two hours of training on Zoom were completed, and two more hours of training will be completed next month.


The Board approved a resolution for a new boardmember replacing Dave Washburn, who recently passed away.
