The Village of West Winfield Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution auditing the payment of vouchers for the General Fund ($33,597.11), and the Water Fund ($2,438.49).
The Board approved a resolution accepting the June meeting minutes.

The Board tabled a discussion on the Solar Energy Law until a later meeting.
Chris Baiamonte spoke to the Board about the language of the law saying, "The law can be broken down into three major components; the building standards, the steps to receive a permit, and submitting a complete application."
The Board held a short discussion with Baiamonte about how the different districts around the Village would accommodate a solar farm.
The discussion continued with Village of West Winfield Mayor Sandy Smith asking Baiamonte to explain or provide an interpretation on the provided Solar Law later.
The Board approved a resolution moving $10,000 from Grants to the Energy Improvement Fund.
The Board approved a resolution to transfer $8,228.57 from the General Fund to the Water Fund relevy 2024 water taxes to Herkimer County.
The Board approved a resolution transferring $4,343.83 from the Capital Fund to MMK Savings.
The Board approved a resolution transferring $10,000 from the General Fund to Money Market Savings for Clean Energy Projects.
Dan Barletta said the pavement project would be rebid because the price has changed and cement is being poured for a foundation.
Barletta said he would be in project discussions before the August Board meeting.
Codes Officer Mike Connors said one permit was issued in June for a pool.
Connors said he was going to have to check on a permit for a deck because Connors wasn't sure he issued a permit for that property.
