Richfield Springs Buys New Truck

The Village of Richfield Springs has put in an order for a new 2022 plow truck.


Board members approved the authorization of bids at their August meeting, saying the village was in need of a new truck. Because the village will be using money in the Public Works Equipment Reserve Account, the motion was subject to a 30-day permissive referendum before becoming final.


Board members opened their August meeting by approving repairs of $1,775 for the 2017 plow truck.


Pest control service by Orkin for $305 apiece for the Fire House and Library was approved.


An adjustment to a water bill on Lake Street and Leak Forgiveness option on Route 28 were both approved.
