Purchase Of New Fire Truck Approved By Winfield Board


The Town of Winfield Board met Wednesday evening to discuss new business.

The Board approved the Highway Abstracts, Supervisor's reports, and Clerk's report into Town records.


Town of Winfield Supervisor Budd Osborn spoke to the Board regarding Town bank accounts being hacked. A total of $152,222.83 in Town funds was recovered.


Osborn said the Town's computer systems were cleared and the accounts were changed to prevent the issue from reoccurring.


Tracy Donley reported the Board of Assessment Review list for 2022 was received for approval.


Donley also provided a quote for the purchase of a laptop for Town Business at $620. The Board approved a resolution for the Laptop as well as any additional software and hardware as necessary not to exceed $1,000.
