High school fall sports action moves this week into playoffs for soccer and field hockey for Section Three.
In field hockey, Mount Markham, at 11-5, is the No, 3 seed.
The Mustangs play at home Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 3:30 p.m. vs. No. 6 Homer.
The winner of that game plays No. 2 Cazenovia at VVS Sunday, Oct. 22 at 12:30 p.m., with the winner moving on to the Class C championship game Sunday, Oct. 29 also at VVS, time to be decided.
Mount Markham girls soccer earned the No. 7 seed in Class C. The Mustangs have a bye in the first round games Tuesday.
