Permits Waiting On New Winfield Codes Officer

The Town of Winfield Board met Wednesday night to discuss new business.


The Board held a short discussion about the D:A and D:B Reserve Funds.


One Fuel Bid was received from Broedel Fuel Group, which was accepted.


One Board Member suggested getting a wood stove for the Town Municipal building.


A Certificate of Appreciation was given to former Board member Bill Kwasniewski, thanking him for his years of dedicated service to the good of the Town.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the General Fund Claims and Highway Fund Claims. The Board approved a resolution accepting the Supervisor's Report and Town Clerk's Report.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the January meeting minutes and Organizational meeting minutes. At the January meeting, the Board approved line-item budget transfers totaling $1,707.36 to the Legislative Board, Court Cont. Equipment, Supervisor Per Serv, Traffic Control, FICA, Park Cont. Expend, and Zoning-Per Serv accounts.


A $48,646.12 balance for the Maintenance of Street Cont. is expected to be covered by CHIPS funds. The Annual Update Document for New York state needs to be updated.


Town of Winfield Supervisor Budd Osbourn said the Board needed to set up a meeting regarding making a payment and held a short discussion about the Town Debit card.
