Mount Markham Class of 2021 student Katherine Loomis was chosen as Youth of the Month for June by the Mount Markham Optimist Club. She is the daughter of Monte and Robin Loomis of Ilion. She participated in College Connection, golf, French Club, History Club, Ski Club and Yearbook Club and was a member of the National Honor Society. Katherine plans to attend college to major in history and education with a goal to be a Constitutional lawyer. She chose Kristen Casale as her favorite teacher, saying Mrs. Casale was a kind person and a great teacher who made learning fun.
