No Speed Change On Kellogg Street

The Town of Kirkland Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.


The Board approved a resolution opening the Public Hearing for Local Law No. 1 of 2024.


The Board approved a resolution approving the minutes for the July 17 meeting.


The Board approved a resolution for a negative declaration resolution for the 3 Sisters Lodge.


Town Attorney Tony Hallak said a petition to reconfigure the rear lot line was submitted to get the project zoned.


Hallak asked for a resolution to close SEQR and adopt Part 2 of the EAF and to sign the negative declaration before signing Part 3 of the Environmental Assessment Form.


The Board approved a resolution authorizing the zone change and signing the EAF.


The Board approved a resolution approving budget transfers of $1,000 from equipment to contingency.


Town Clerk Donna Maxam said the State Department of Transportation sent a letter to the Town determining a lower speed limit is not required following a road study of Kellogg Street. ...
