New Safety Plan Reviewed For Clinton District

The Clinton Central School Board of Education met Tuesday evening to discuss new business.


CCS Superintendent Chris Clancy began the meeting talking about the 2023-24 District Safety Plan. Clancy outlined the plan, gave some detail on the preventative and intervention strategies, Student support services, response actions, and mental health resources.


An addition to the safety plan this year is the Pandemic Plan, a subsection for the remote instruction plan. Clancy said, "The remote instruction plan is not as comprehensive but is specific enough in the event of a shutdown to provide home instruction."
