New Principal Hired For Mount Markham School

The Mount Markham Central School District Board of Education met recently for a special meeting to discuss new business and wrap up the 2025-26 year.
The Board approved a resolution appointing Cait Dates as the High School Principal.
The Board approved a resolution approving the Memorandum of Agreement between MMCSD and the Administrators' Association.
Mount Markham Superintendent Lauren Crisman said she is excited about the appointment of Dates and "what she can contribute to the MM leadership team and community."
Dates comes to Mount Markham from her role as Dean of Students in the Cooperstown Central School District.
Crisman talked about the awards ceremonies and Senior Night.
"Hearing the legacy stories and memorials tugged at the heartstrings. I needed a warning for some of the wonderful stories."
