New Members Join CCS Board

The Clinton Central School Board of Education met Tuesday evening to discuss new business.


District Clerk Julia Scranton swore-in Rachel Clark and Patrick LaVeck as CCS Boardmembers. The Board approved a resolution opening the nomination for the position of Board President.


CCS BOE President Melinda Leising was nominated and approved as CCS BOE President. The Board approved a resolution nominating and approving Erica Shaw as CCS BOE Vice-President.


The Board approved a resolution appointing Scranton as District Clerk. The Board approved a resolution appointing Joe Barretta as Substitute District Clerk. The Board approved a resolution appointing Barretta as District Treasurer. The Board approved a resolution appointing Angela Thieme as District Tax Collector. The Board approved a resolution to appoint Linda Voce as Internal Claims Auditor.


The Board approved a resolution combining and approving the standing resolutions. The Board approved a resolution naming the Waterville Times and Rome Sentinel as the official papers of CCS.


The Board approved a resolution appointing NBT Bank as the official Bank for Financial Services. The Board approved a resolution to hold regular meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.


The Board approved a resolution approving the Superintendent with the authority to certify payroll for the 2023-24 school year. The Board approved a resolution accepting the list of custodians of petty cash.
