After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the eighth Daniel Barden Mudfest at MKJ Farm in Deansboro returned Saturday to what turned out to be the best weather for the event. Under cloudy but dry skies people crawled, swam, climbed, ran, walked and laughed their way from the start to the finish of the 5K or 5-mile course. Participants got wet, got muddy and did it to raise money and awareness about being kind to each other and the joys of being outside. More photos, Pages 7 and 12
