Dear Mount Markham Community Members:
Anyone who looks closely at the Mount Markham Central School District can see this community’s amazing commitment to providing a well-rounded, high-quality education for all students. It is remarkable the way that our families and residents work every day to support and continually strengthen the programs we offer so students can pursue their passions.
On Tuesday, Dec. 7, our community members will have the opportunity to further this commitment by voting on a $25.985 million facilities improvement project. This project will allow the District to make necessary upgrades and renovations to all buildings in our District to ensure students have a safe learning environment that meets or exceeds what they need to be successful in school and after graduation.
Districtwide work upgrades the fire alarm system, sound systems in the gyms and upgrades technology.
At the High School the cafeteria, art suite and kitchen will have upgrades.
The Middle School art and agriculture/FCS suites will be reconstructed and relocated. The Auditorium will be renovated.
The Elementary School will receive new playground equipment and an updated cafetorium.
