Early on a drizzly Sunday morning on the 21st anniversary of Sept. 11, five members of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument Association installed 20 bricks honoring U.S. service veterans in the Memorial Walkway. "Most people forget about 9/11. We haven't," said veteran Bob Conte. The Soldiers and Sailors Monument Association will inscribe bricks with the names and service information of friends and family members to honor.
