The Mavericks cheerleading squads have had a successful season. Competing at the Buffalo Bills training facility, all teams took first place: Firecrackers, Cadets, Special Ops, Bombsquad and Delta Force. The Bombsquad won Grand Champs of Level 1 and a full paid bid to Surfs Up Nationals in Virginia Beach. The Delta Force won Grand Champs of Level 3 and won Grand Champion of all Rec teams plus a full paid bid to The One Nationals in Sandusky, Ohio. They won jackets and rings as well. The Bombsquad traveled to Florida at Universal Studios on a bid they had won last May. They won first place in their division to finish as International Champions. The teams have one competition left April 15 in Albany and will finish the season with an exhibition performance May 5 at Accelerate Sports from 6 to 8 p.m.
