Marshall Water Improvements Start

The July meeting of the Town of Marshall Town Council opened with the= approval of the minutes of the June meeting and the work session of June 12.


Town of Marshall resident Jacob Addington addressed the Council with a question about a messaging system regarding public hearings, meetings, etc., so the public would be better informed about Town business.


It was decided to check with Oneida County and with Digital Towpath, the operating system of the website.


The Planning Board had no meeting, according to David Yablon, a member of the committee.


Jamie McNair reported for the Zoning Board of Appeals.


At their meeting, they approved the application for an SUP for Daniel Williams,

and agreed to be the lead agency for the project.


There was no Assessor’s report, and the report from the Codes Enforcement Officer, Gary Shreppel was brief.


He was not at the meeting.


In his report, Dan Yoxall, Water Board Chairman, said they had treated 584,700 gallons of water last month, for a daily average of 19,400.


He updated the Council on the improvements to the water system, and added that G&G Municipal Consulting have begun their income survey.
