Marshall Fixes Internet Issues

The Jan. 9 meeting of the Marshall Town Board began with the Pledge of Allegiance and the approval of the minutes of the December meeting and the reorganizational meeting Jan. 2.


Supervisor Colleen Baldwin, who led the meeting, announced that Town of Marshall Attorney Bill Getman has retired.


The Board recognized his 45 years of service to the Town of Marshall with grateful appreciation.


They are in the process of finding a new town attorney.

There were no guests present.


Jamie McNair, chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, stated they are working on the bylaws for the Board to review.


He also mentioned the public hearing in November which was adjourned and will reconvene Jan. 24.


He thanked the Board for appointing Samantha Morrone of the Planning Board to the ZBA temporarily in order to constitute a quorum for the ZBA on the matter of the Blueberry Brooke proposed country club.


Her presence was necessary because two members of the ZBA have recused themselves on that issue.


Councilmember Ken Ford spoke on behalf of the Planning Board, which has been contacted by Norbut Solar Farms who have submitted contracts for the host community agreements.
