The Town of Kirkland Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution accepting the Jan. 24 meeting minutes.
Two new 10-wheel trucks purchased by the Town are currently in a paint shop.
Deputy Supervisor Garry Colarusso said, "The trucks were promised to us by Christmas, but they didn't say which Christmas."
The trucks are mostly completed, according to Colarusso.
Recreation liason Councilwoman Melanie O'Neil said reservations for
the Town Park are being made for the summer.
Councilwoman Donna Yando said membership at the Kirkland Senior Center is rising.
Colarusso said a letter from Barbara Ames about striping roadways was received.
The Town purchased a machine to stripe roads last year and the project won't be underway until mid-spring when the weather allows for the paint to set properly.
The Board approved a resolution authorizing the payment of bills.
The next Town of Kirkland Board meeting is scheduled for Feb. 28.
