Kirkland Issues Project Bonds

The Town of Kirkland Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.


A member of the public asked the Board to recap the topics of the recent DOT meetings for the repaving project.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the March 10 meeting minutes.


The Board approved a resolution approving the Hamilton College Fireworks display for June 7 at 10 p.m.


Town Clerk Donna Maxam said insurance was received for the KAC Run & Walk.


The Board approved a resolution for a SEQR request for a reconstruction of highway and parking areas.


The Board approved a resolution accepting a Bond Resolution authorizing the issuance of $350,000 for reconstruction of highway and parking areas.


The Board approved a resolution authorizing the issuance of $900,000 in serial bonds for the purchase of equipment and machinery for the Highway Garage.


The Board approved a resolution auditing the payment of bills.


The next Town of Kirkland Board meeting is scheduled for April 15 at 5 p.m.
