The Town of Kirkland Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution approving the Nov. 12 meeting minutes.
The Board held a discussion about Kevin Magdon as a candidate for the Zoning Board of Appeals, with approval to the Board scheduled for the Organizational meeting.
The Board received word from Anita's Steven Swans Humane Society, they would be ending their boarding agreement with the Town due to cut funding from Oneida County.
Town of Kirkland Supervisor Bob Meelan said the Town reached out to the kennel in New Hartford for a new boarding contract.
The Board approved a resolution to approve the new contract.
The Board approved a resolution auditing the payment of bills.
The next Town of Kirkland Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.
