The Town of Kirkland Board met last Monday evening in-person to discuss new business.
Representatives of AYSO Soccer met with the Board to discuss repairing issues in the relationship between the youth organization and the Town. The Board said they would continue to support AYSO, but past incidents with people no longer with the organization have left them tentative about what services they're willing to allow to AYSO for now.
Further discussion left both sides with the understanding better communication from AYSO itself was necessary as some outlined issues were the result of a lack of dialogue between all parties.
The Board approved a resolution authorizing an extension to the Budget Director from May 1 through Dec. 31 for $300 per pay period.
