Historic District Approved

The Village of West Winfield Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.

The Village received a Safe Workplace Award of $3,795 from the Comp Alliance.

The Board approved a budget modification of $3,000 to record a contribution from the Town of Plainfield to the Ambulance Fund.

The Board approved a resolution to accept a $300 donation from Pamela Andela to the Community Activities Fund.

New York state approved the West Winfield Historic District.

Fire hydrants are scheduled to be flushed this month.

Codes Officer Mike Connors issued one permit.

The West Winfield Fire Department answered 51 total calls, with 43 EMS calls for November.

The Board held a discussion about getting truck repair quotes.

Boardmember Carl Wheat held a short discussion about the Clean Energy Committee and the Comprehensive Plan.

The transfer of Emergency Management Resources billing services is almost complete.

Boardmember Jim Murphy will be working on the Chicken/Poultry Law.

Work on the Fire Contract with the Town of Winfield is underway.
