High Bid Comes In For Bridgewater Clock Plan

The Town of Bridgewater Board met Thursday night to discuss new business.
The Town received one bid for the Clock project and Town Park installation for $440,000 from IVH.
Town of Bridgewater Supervisor Dale DeKing said, "It's a lot more than we expected. Our engineer is reviewing it."
The Board tabled the bid decision. The Board approved a resolution approving the January meeting minutes.
Zoning Board Chair Deidra Williams reported the previous meeting was canceled due to illness and is rescheduled for Feb. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
Town Assessor Patricia Terns said the Assessor's Office is receiving renewals and was doing field work last Friday.
Codes Officer Pat Baron said some fines weren't being paid by court no-shows.

Boardmember Mike Rose said the Highway Department will make a list of equipment inventory.
Boardmember Mike Pcola completed an audit of the Town with Boardmember Chris Haar.
Haar said it appears the Town needs seven signs for the Wellhead Protection Area.
Approval of the Mowing and Ditching agreement was tabled until the March Board meeting.
The Board approved a resolution to purchase a John Deere backhoe from Five Star Equipment for $137,605.35.
DeKing said a meter bill was paid, and another water meter was replaced last week.
DeKing and Roselle Wheeldon are preparing for the Association of Towns training conference in New York City.
The Board approved a resolution to pay the Highway Bills for $13,104.00, the General Bills for $133,341.40, and the Water Bills for $3,522.09.
