The Town of Kirkland Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution accepting the April 14 meeting minutes.
Town of Kirkland Supervisor Bob Meelan recommended a resolution to sell a car on Auctions international.
The Board approved a resolution for the sale of the car for $14,800.
The Board held a discussion about Fourth of July festivities and cancelling the parade.
Meelan said he was meeting with the CCS School District
about the fireworks celebration.
Tariffs on fireworks are causing a pricing problem.
Construction on the school lawn means the area won't be
usable for people to sit.
The parade will be put off due to road construction.
The Board approved a resolution auditing the payment of bills.
