Dreamy’s Candy on West Park Row in Clinton had its ribbon-cutting last week to bring a candy shop to the village. Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo, Clinton Chamber of Commerce Board president Karen Ostinett, owner Amity Messett (center), her husband and family, along with Assemblyman Brian Miller and Chamber Executive Director Molly Marris gathered for the official opening. The family also owns Rainbow Cupboard, a plant shop, around the corner on College Street. The candy shop offers dozens of varieties of chocolates, including the truffle-like version called melties. Dreamy’s is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 12 to 6 p.m., Saturdays 12 to 5 p.m, and Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
