Creek Work Will Begin In Town

The Town of Bridgewater Board met Thursday evening to discuss new business.

The Board approved a resolution approving the July Meeting minutes.


Planning Board Chair Destiny Davis said the Planning Board held a Public Hearing and Regular Meeting July 18. Two junkyard properties on Route 8 were the topic of the Public Hearing.


No decision was made for approval. The two property owners met with the Planning Board in the regular meeting to discuss details of a possible exemption before plan approval.


Zoning Board Chair Diedra Williams said the Zoning Board met with one property owner in violation. An estimate would need to be given to the Planning Board by the owner at the Planning Board's next meeting.


Williams said the resident was applying for a financial hardship exemption and proof would need to be obtained while Davis checked with the County on the requirements for financial hardship.


Williams said the estimate is for an eight-foot tall, 850-foot length fence and one fence post. There were questions to the ZBA about exemption…
