Clinton Central Students Earn Their Bright Spots

The Clinton Central School Board of Education met Tuesday evening to discuss new business.

The District is ready to continue celebrating Appreciation Weeks for staff. Administrative Assistant Day was April 14. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-6, National Nurse Appreciation Week is May 6-12, and School Nurse Day is May 11.


Six CCS Winter Athletic Teams - Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Bowling, Boys Hockey, Boys Indoor Track and Field, Girls Indoor Track and Field, and Girls Volleyball - received Scholar Athlete Awards. Thirty-four student-athletes were selected for All-Star Teams.


The Fourth Grade Kindness Crew in the Elementary School is doing a great job giving daily challenges and advice on how to be kind.


Spirit Week was spent learning about butterflies and Tea for 2 Tuesday.


Class lists for next school year are being generated.


Projects for beautifying the building are underway. CCS Elementary Principal Ellen Leuthauser said, "Thank you to everyone for the effort they put into decorating. Especially thank you for the how much we got done on half days."
