Clinton Arena Sets Up Viewing Area

The Town of Kirkland Board met virtually Monday evening to discuss new business.

The Board approved a resolution authorizing the approval of the Animal Control Contract.

Appointments to the Zoning Board and Planning Board were approved.

The bills from the previous meeting were approved before moving on to correspondence.

A viewing area has been installed at the Clinton Arena for parents to watch practices.

Town Supervisor Bob Meelan said he's pleased Kirkland has not been labeled a Covid-19 yellow zone as were some parts of Oneida County.

Town court is closed until further notice.

A meeting for Town of Kirkland residents to ask questions regarding the new policing policies will be scheduled. The meeting date hasn't been decided so anyone from the public wishing to attend has time to make themselves available for the meeting.

The next Town of Kirkland Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. through Zoom.
