Clinton Adopts 2024-25 Goals

The Clinton Central School Board of Education met Tuesday evening to discuss new business.


The Board held a public hearing to discuss the CCS Code of Conduct.


CCS Superintendent Chris Clancy explained the Code of Conduct is required to be posted annually.


He said the overhaul of the document a few years ago has led to there being no need for any recent major changes.


Clancy said one of the definitions in the Code of Conduct did not align with BOE policy, so the code was adjusted.


The list of Conduct Counselors who students can report instances of bullying or

discrimination to was updated.


No members of the public spoke.


Clancy reported the CCS style guide was received Aug. 13 with the updated school imagery and logos.


Clancy thanked Dr. Shaun Carney for his 12 years as Middle School Principal.


Carney gave his resignation and will be taking an administrative position with the Rome City School District.


Clancy welcomed Kristina Donley as newly hired Business Teacher in the High School.
