CCS Reviews Budget Picture For 2026-27

The Clinton Central School Board of Education met Tuesday evening to discuss new business.


Tim Thomas gave an update to the Board regarding Oneida- Herkimer-Madison BOCES to begin the meeting.


Thomas gave a quick review of the Regionalization plan and BOCES discussions to contract aid through non-BOCES employees.


BOCES also discussed the New York State Community Schools Thruway Coalition.


BOCES budget updates will be discussed at the February meeting and the annual meeting is scheduled for April 1.


CCSD Superintendent Chris Clancy welcomed new hires Hollie Mueller as Kitchen Manager and Tina Pipertara as School Monitor.


Clancy reviewed Hamilton College's Town-Gown contribution of $19,550.


The donation will go towards High School furniture, a large format printer for the Art Department, sensory space equipment in the Elementary School, an art installation at the Middle School or High School, an enhanced morning video announcement program, ES and MS equipment, updates to the Fitness Center, a Comets vinyl wall installation in the HS gymnasium, and a 3D printer for the Comets library makerspace.
