CCS Retirements Approved

The Clinton Central School Board of Education met Tuesday evening to discuss new business.


CCS Superintendent Christopher Clancy introduced High School Principal Ed Waskiewicz to give an update.


Clancy said, "I hope the Board will get to see through tonight's presentation how we continue to work diligently to bring the Portrait of a Graduate to life."


Waskiewicz said, "The High School provides meaningful experiences where students can challenge themselves academically inside and outside of the classroom.


“Students are encouraged to discover their passions and engage in meaningful extracurricular activities to find a place to belong, develop skills, and thrive beyond Clinton High School."


Global and Gourmet Foods Teacher Miquel Grimm shared student made Apple Crisps and Bruschetta.


Students in the class expand their perspective through experience and learn about various cultures through food. Students and Teachers from the High School and Elementary school shared how the High School Design, Draw, and Production class created an Earthquake Waves table.


Elementary students were able to use to learn about earthquakes.


The High School students discussed the process of designing and creating the table which allows for the evaluation of solutions to reduce the impact of natural hazards.


The Clinton Robotics Club introduced their robots, Woody and Plexy.


They discussed creative thought- process towards the robots' design and utility.
