CCS Awards Bids For Capital Projects

The Clinton Central Schools Board of Education met Tuesday afternoon to discuss new business.


The Board approved a resolution awarding the bid for the Strong Foundations Capital Project to Murphy Excavating Corporation for $922,100.


The Board approved a resolution awarding the bid for the Strong Foundations Roofing Construction to New Britain Roofing Company for $1,424,000.


The Board approved a resolution awarding Strong Foundations Capital Project General Construction bid to J. Priore Construction Company for $874,000.


The Board approved a resolution awarding the Strong Foundations Capital Project Electical Construction bid to J&A Electrical for $162,500.


The Board approved a resolution awarding the Strong Foundations Capital Project Plumbing Construction to Stephen Starr Mechanical Construction for $125,000.


The Board approved a resolution awarding the Strong Foundations Capital Project HVAC Construction to Stephen Starr Mechanical Corporation for $553,500.


The Board approved a resolution awarding the Middle School Gym Refinishing to Artistic Wood Floors for $33,980.


The Board approved a resolution appointing Erika Kay to the Elementary Summer School Staff.


The Board approved a resolution appointing Liam Clancy as a Student Helper.


The Clinton Central School District Board of Education also met recently to discuss new business and wrap up the 2025-26 school year.


CCSD Superintendent Chris Clancy began the meeting congratulating Jaime Abel, Karen DiGennaro, Micaela Honsinger, and Alexis Kemp on their tenure nominations.


Clancy then spoke about Student Ex-Officio Boardmember Alice Gaetano's work with the Board over the previous year, highlighted her contributions as a CCS student, and wished her luck ...
