Bus Drivers Receive Raise at Mt. Markham

The Mount Markham Board of Education met Tuesday evening to discuss new business.


MMCSD President Cynthia Miller reported board members attended an RSA conference on mental health and wellness, saying it was a great experience and very educational.


Business Administrator Lou D'Ambro talked about the 2022-23 Budget Calendar for the District. A survey was distributed throughout the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School with the information expected to be received by January.


February and March will be dedicated to deciphering the information with the budget formed in April. The budget vote is scheduled for May 15.


MMCSD Superintendent Joe D'Apice congratulated and thanked D'Ambro. "This process is very time-consuming and stressful and the in-depth work required is unbelievable."


Miller seconded the appreciation, saying D'Ambro's simplifying of the complicated concepts regarding the budget is a great perk of working with D'Ambro.
