Bridgewater Seeks New Bids For Clock Project

The Town of Bridgewater Board met Thursday night to discuss new business.
Zoning Board Chair Diedra Williams reported the Zoning Board is changing their meeting times to 6 p.m. beginning in May.
Williams is attending the Tug Hill training April 21.
The next Zoning Board training session is March 26.
The Planning Board has approved plans for a subdivision.
Town Assessor Patricia Terns said Oneida County is updating the computers.
Highway Superintendent James Southworth reported a piece of town equipment would be sold in a private sale for $6,000 more than expected from placing it on Auctions International.
Town Clerk Rose Wheeldon reported the Clerk's Office hours will be adjusted after tax season.
The Clerk's Office will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Wednesdays the Clerk's Office is open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Boardmembers Christopher Haar and Mike Pcola will audit the Clerk's Office March 19.
Boardmembers Tom Meininger and Mike Rose will audit the Town Supervisor's books this week.
Haar distributed a wellhead protection map. Bridgewater Supervisor Dale DeKing said the big BMX weekend is scheduled for July 10 through July 12.
The BMX program was looking into signing a 5-to-10 year lease contract.
The Board held a discussion about the BMX program, reminding participants about abiding by Town ordinances.
DeKing suggested inviting the BMX officers to the next Board meeting.
The Board held a discussion about extending a water line to a property.
DeKing said it would be establishing another water district for one person.
DeKing said the Water Department cannot financially do it and the property owner would have to cover the full costs.
DeKing spoke to a Solid Waste Facility vendor for paint removal.
The Board approved a resolution to move forward with contacting the company to provide the paint removal at Dumpster day.
