Bridgewater’s Clock Project Moves Forward

The Town of Bridgewater Board met this month to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution approving the December meeting minutes.
Jerry Parry said another leak was commandeered at the trailer park.
Parry held a discussion with the Board about residents' expectations of Parry's responsibilities.
The Bridgewater Fire Department answered 51 calls for December.
Town Assessor Patricia Terns said assessment renewals were distributed and the Assessor's Office is working on building permits.
Codes Officer Pat Baron said some progress was being made with one of the cited junkyards in Town.
Baron is waiting to hear from Department of Transportation about purchasing a property for the culvert replacement project which is being planned for 2028 construction season.
A request was received from the DOT to hold a public hearing in March. Highway Supervisor Jim Southworth led a short discussion about repairs for a Town Plow Truck and the salt shortage.
Boardmember Mike Pcola discussed the support structure for the Town Clock project being chosen.
The Board held a discussion about the sale of a backhoe on Auctions International.
The Board approved a resolution to place a backhoe for sale on Auctions International and to not accept a bid lower than $30,000.
Rose Wheeldon led a discussion about attending training in New York City.
The Board approved a resolution to name Wheeldon the delegate and Town of Bridgewater Supervisor Dale DeKing the alternate.
