BCS Sixth Graders Go On Patrol Guard Duty


Sixth graders at Brookfield Central School do more than follow the rules.

This year, the Class of 2030 has the task of helping to make sure younger elementary students also abide by the rules.

BCS Superintendent Ron Pavlus said teachers had the idea to give the sixth graders some responsibility to both serve as role models for the younger students and to prepare them for next year’s move upstairs to the Junior- Senior High part of the building.


“We’re helping them learn to be good citizens right here in school,’’ he said.
