The Western Star Lodge No. 15 of Bridgewater observed its 225th anniversary Dec. 17 with a gathering of officers and Masonic dignitaries from around the state. The event also included a luncheon with members of the Mount Markham High School cheerleading squad assisting. The Lodge Room was also re-dedicated later in the afternoon. The Lodge is the oldest in Oneida County, chartered in 1797.
