Stanley Zombek and Ryan Cook, members of the Barton Hose Co. in Deansboro, did the traditional Sept. 11 Stair Climb at the firehouse on the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States. The climb that usually takes place in the State Office Building in Utica was canceled, so the firefighters honored their fellow first responders who lost their lives helping others to safety.
