The Clinton boys hockey team's postseason journey began with a strong 4-1 win over New Hartford in the first round Sectional game at the Clinton Arena last Friday night.
Clinton moves on to the semifinal round Tuesday, Feb. 25 with a 7 p.m. game at Whitesboro. The winner plays the Skaneateles/Cortland-Homer winner Monday, March 2 at 7:45 p.m. at the Onondaga War Memorial for the Section Three Division II title.
The Warriors’ three-goal victory was actually a close game against the Spartans, considering NH made the comeback in their first meeting of the season. However Clinton goalie Josh Trask was sidelined for the first game and took on the role of netminder for Clinton's last two matchups with New Hartford for wins.
