The Village of Clinton board met last Monday night to discuss January's business.
The DPW removed 17.21 tons over 14 loads to Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste. Two loads of metal were recycled for $73.94. Nine televisions, six tires, and 110 Christmas trees were removed.
Water Plant 2 pumped 11,520,400 gallons at an average daily rate of 371,616 gallons. Plants 1 and 2 pumped a combined 11,959,400 gallons and used 80 gallons of chlorine and 393.5 pounds of fluoride.
The Clinton Fire Department answered 71 calls for January. Forty-three were medical and 28 fire related. A garage on Martin Street was a partial loss and a house was saved on Laurel Place.
Town of Kirkland Police Administrative Officer Shawn Occhipinti said call volume, tickets, and arrests were up in January.
