The Village of Clinton Board met last Monday evening to discuss new business.
The DPW hauled 16 loads weighing 17.2 tons to the landfill, including 25 tires. Three loads of metal weighing 1.56 tons were recycled for $101.
Sixty-one loads of mixed yard was gathered and removed. One sign was replaced on Kirkland Avenue.
The Water Department pumped 9,038,600 gallons through Plant 1 and 2,730,000 gallons through Plant 2. Seventy-five gallons of chlorine were used and 348.7 pounds of fluoride were used.
New Codes Officer Bob Harris talked to the Board and thanked them and the Village upon his appointment to the job. He said he is very excited to get to work.
A joint meeting with the Town of Kirkland Board is scheduled for Jan. 29, 2020 at Town Hall at 7 p.m. The meeting will discuss Clinton and Kirkland becoming Climate Smart Communities.
