Insurance Given

The Town of Kirkland Board met Nov. 25 to discuss new business.


The first resolution approved was to name the Kirkland Trails Group on the Town of Kirkland’s liability insurance. 

An extension of the stipend for the Grants Administrator was approved. 


 Some budget amendments were announced, including $44,000 moved from various accounts into the Clinton Arena Fund. Sales tax receipts totaled $545,893 for the Town of Kirkland for the previous quarter.


The solar permit application will be voted on in a few weeks, said  board member Garry Colarusso. Colarusso explained the need for additional regulations to be placed on the Town of Kirkland application. 


Recent permit applications from the towns of Vernon and Sweden have served as a  template for the Kirkland application.


The next Town of Kirkland Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 9.
