Safety Focuses On Teaching Kids At Clinton School


The Clinton Board of Education met Tuesday, Oct. 28 to discuss new business.

The meeting opened with a public hearing and overview of the district-wide safety plan. The plan focuses on teaching proper safety procedures to elementary, middle, and high school students.

A full recap of the plan is available at www.ccs.edu in the Quicklinks bar. New safety measures include photo ID badges for all staff and video surveillance upgrades courtesy of the capital project funds.

Clinton Middle School teacher John King met with the board publicly to thank them for their contributions and efforts for the Clinton Central School District. This week is School Board Appreciation Week in New York state. Gov. Cuomo sent a proclamation to the CCS Board thanking them for their service to the community. Another thank-you card was sent to the Board from the Clinton High School girls soccer team thanking the Board for their support this season and for everything they do for the district.
